Burney Croll, a 1968 SUNY at Buffalo dental alumnus, completed a two-year prosthodontic program at Tufts University in 1972. He enjoys private prosthodontic practice in New York City, dedicated to providing quality care for his patients. He directs a full laboratory on the premises, which includes ceramists and technicians. Dr. Croll has been a guest lecturer in the postgraduate Prosthodontic programs at Columbia University, New York University, and the University of Pennsylvania. He has provided continuing education internationally. He is a past president of the Northeast Gnathological Society, a member of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics Osseointegration, and the American College of Prosthodontists. He is active as a member of the Advisory Board to the Department of Restorative Dentistry at New York City College of Technology.

 

Burney and his wife, Harriet, have two children: Wendy, a 2001 graduate of the Periodontal program and Implant Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, and Andrea, a graduate of Fordham University School of Law. In addition to teaching dentistry, Burney is an instrument-rated private airplane pilot, enjoys skiing, model railroading, playing clarinet and saxophone, and being a grandfather.
